Alene shares her everyday, ordinary life with thousands at her blog, Positively Alene. Through her writing she captures the hearts of her readers to seek, search, and serve. Through speaking and writing Alene challenges the core of each soul to reach out and serve more.

As the Director of Volunteers at Bay Area Fellowship Westside Campus, her passion is to see others find the answer to those most frustrating questions "who am I and what is my purpose." Alene's message is clear -- when you serve others you find your purpose and then begin living the life Christ created you to live.

Alene resides in Corpus Christi, Texas with her husband of 30 years and has three children. She loves warm weather, photography, serving hot meals out on the streets, and Starbucks.

Alene is a Christian motivational speaker, Bible teacher, and author of Dirty Laundry Secrets - A Journey to Meet the Launderer and I'm a Fixer-Upper - A Day-by-Day Remodeling Guide. She has written two eBooks SAVOUR and Easy Street is a Dead End, as well as being a contributing author for WHOA women's magazine.

Being a certified communicator through CLASS and Toastmasters, Alene connects with her audiences through real life experiences and stories. You will walk away refreshed and challenged, as she will inspires, motivates and provides you with tools and encouragement to further your spiritual journey.
