From the moment you meet Alene Snodgrass you’ll recognize she is full of smiles and enthusiasm. Her authentic and friendly personality comes across as engaging and genuine. Alene reaches deep into the hearts of women as her passion is to draw others closer to Christ and see lives change. She does not claim to be a Biblical scholar, but she connects with her audiences through her real life experiences and stories. She wants others to realize that being ordinary is amazing.

Alene is a motivational speaker, author and conference coordinator. She has recently written Dirty Laundry Secrets – A Journey to Meet the Launderer, a seven-week Bible study for the busy women of today. Alene is a contributing author is Praise Reports; Inspiring Real-Life Stories of How God Works Miracles Today (Xulon Press), Along the Way for Teens (Meredith Books), and The One Year Life Verse Devotional (Tyndale House Publishers).

As a team member of Living the Life Ministries and Speaking Thru Me, Alene is dedicated to helping other churches reach out to women and encourage them in their everyday, ordinary lives. These ministries inspire, equip, and challenge women to live purposeful lives beyond themselves.

Alene is a trained CLASS (Christian Leaders and Speakers Services) speaker, and a Certified Communicator with Toastmasters.

She and her husband, Curt, have been married for 26 years and have three children. They serve the Lord at Christ Point Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, where Alene is the Director of SHE Fellowship.

Alene claims Romans 12:1 as her life verse. The NIV states we are to be living sacrifices. Alene loves how the Message version puts that into real-life scenarios. "Take your everyday, ordinary life -- your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around life -- and place it before God as an offering."
